This is very oily and very tasty, and also incredibly simple! It is a sort of focaccia, but not as soft because there's no yeast. It's tipical of Liguria/Tuscany areas of Italy.

Ingredients (2 people)#

  • Chickpea flour: 150 gr
  • Water: 400 ml
  • Extra-vergin olive oil: 50g
  • Pinch of salt

Method#

  1. Prepare the batter with all the ingredients: chickpea flour first, then pour in the water slowly while stiring with a whisk. Add olive oil and salt in the end. It will be very liquid, but don't worry, it will come out of the oven perfect!
  2. Get a baking tray, put baking paper on it and pour in the batter
  3. Cook in the over at 200 degrees (celsius), static heating, for 35-40 minutes
  4. When it's finished, take it out the oven and let it rest for 10 mins. Then enjoy it!

Tips#

You can have it as a main dish, with some vegetables on side. But you can also serve it as a starter or aperitivo.
